Our Mission...Is Yours...To Enhance Your Fundraising Competitive Advantage.
Profile
Who We Are:
We are a small-group of entrepreneurial and small-business people whom are active in
our communities with memberships spanning across community-development corporations,
church memberships, volunteer-based giving societies, school fundraising clubs and mebership-based
social clubs, including a couple with active trustee, director or positions leading national, as well as,
personal foundations focused on specific charitable causes, such as the arts, education/scholarships,
conservation and donor-supported charities (ex: MDA, Smile Train, Easter Seals, Christopher & Dana Reeve
Foundation, Help Hospitalized Vets, etc.)
During numerous discussions based at meetings for organizations that we happend to all share a common
membership or during volunteer sessions, and even when just standing around during breaks, the consistent
discussion of the day always turned to fundraising.
How to do it right? How to involve all members? How to provide supporters and community stakeholders
with another avenue (of value) to give for than just out-right donation requests? How to make it easier for
the fundraising chair or philanthropy committee members to meet the organization's community giving goals
by locating new or additional fundraising programs so not to relay on making up the fundraising budget
difference from member's out-of-pocket?
Where's the best source of 'quick-guide' or summary information regarding fundraising 101? Is there one?
As importantly, where's a good list of fundraising programs reasonable in offering and profitability to review?
Are there any - Or, are they only overpriced canady, unhealth snacks, trinkets, cheap nick-nacks made from
unidentified countries or disputed labor-work practices?
Is there a repository that can just give volunteer groups and membership-based organizations some guidance
towards fundrainsing programs that we can feel good about presenting to our members & supporters towards
adding to the annual fundraising programming mix without conflicting with our other events or to the exclusivity
of our other programs? Something simply to explain, easy to implement, with a product offering that's
reasonably accepted or that I'd buy, has a quality supply-delivery mechanism and good return for the effort?
What We Do:
Thus, the challenge was born: To collaborate on an informative web-site that gathers best-programs and great service-minded fundraisers so that worthy
schools, groups, sports teams, community non-profits and civic organization's
charged with the task of identifying and obtaining a fundraising program that best
suits their member's interests and has the possibility to meet funding needs.
The Objective: To efficiently keep time spent by your members understanding any fundraising program
to a minimum while optimizing their time actually enjoying the process of an effective
fundraising event/program.
The Criteria: Only fundraising program offerings, that have satisfaction guaranteed, Canadian or U.S.A.-
based operations, sound Better Business Bureau comments, affordable offerings, no-to-low start-up
expenses, could be combined with an organization's other fundraising programs, and real people to
call for assistance to get your group started and to help you coordinate the receipt of funds to eventual
(ease of) delivery of goods..., and last but not least, would be acceptable to your organization's
membership review and capability to put into use for good fundraising program return.
*In most cases, a drop-shipment by a major carrier to your group will
be the norm and best-case scenario for your operating ease.
Our Goals: To help your organization access quality fundraising programs that offer personalized service
and a valued product that you'd not mind purchasing for your family, home or as a gift too.
To find truly attractive, cost-effective and ease of use fundraising programs that will have a positive
impact on your membership's attitude (for gaining involvement) and afford (credible) profitability.
Why It Matters To Our Clientele:
We also are clients. So, as we find reasonably good programs we reach-out and share those with others.
It is our hope to identify and support good fundraising programs for the benefit of all whom use, even need,
such solutions for funding their programs.
Furthermore, we want to advocate and distinguish between those good programs and those that considerably
lack service, healthy or quality product offering, fair pricing and good return for the effort.
We believe that the business of fundraising can, indeed, be driven by credible, profitable & quality
product offerings by world-class brands and personalized service so that organizations, just like yours,
no matter how small or big, can feel good about asking their memberships energy to reach-out to
their families, friends, co-workers and communities to request supporting the worthy cause that your
organization advocates & is prepared to engage supporting or offering.
At the very least, the activity of fundraising should be easy for your team to effortlessly review, compare
and decide which fundraising program most unlocks the potential of your unique membership reach
the organizational fundraising objectives and programming goals.
